Adhere to mine safety protocols, monitor hazards, and report safety issues to maintain a safe working environment
Perform daily checks, troubleshoot minor issues, and coordinate with maintenance teams for major repairs
Manage the transportation of mined material to the conveyor system, ensuring smooth, uninterrupted operations
Keep accurate records of production, machine performance, and maintenance activities.
Minimum Requirements
Must have at least three years’ experience as a licencedContinuous Miner Operator (Eickhoff H36 & H45 CM and Joy HM31 & HM37 CM)in a production section
Must supply proof of previous operator licence.
A valid competent B certificate must be provided.
A valid operator gas testing must be provided.
Must be able to obtain a valid medical certificate.
