Contracts Specialist at De Beer Intellectual Property Attorneys

The Contract Specialist provides sourcing and contractual support on negotiable operational spend to the Category Manager. This role is a Supply Chain role and provides strategic sourcing capability across the De Beers GoC – directly supporting the wholly managed business units and indirectly supporting the joint ventures.

The purpose of the Contract Specialist is to support the management of the supply of strategic commodities and strategic services to the De Beers Group of Companies (GoC), in order to ensure maximum benefit and value and operational compliance, in line with the organisation’s strategic needs ensuring minimised risk to the business.

• SAP ARIBA Administration (contracting and sourcing modules)

Qualifications

• Matric/ Grade 12 Mathematics
• Current studies towards a commercial/purchasing qualification is critical

Experience

• 1 year experience in a general administrative environment
• Exposure to Supply Chain or a commercial environment
