Job Description

To be successful in this role, some of your duties will include:
 

• Support our Senior Engineers to ensure that process control projects are executed on-time and meet the required performance criteria
• Design & implement control solutions and liaise closely with the technical support staff to minimize critical failures of the process control solution optimise the process through the use of automation
• Detail design testing and commissioning of control solutions (FAT/SAT)
• Executing projects and seeking for continuous improvement initiatives
• Assist with skills development on the operations and develop and implement control standards
• Analyse plant processes, design and implement improvements
   

This position is at a Band 6 level in the Engineering Department Process Control and Instrumentation Department and reports into the Lead Control Engineer Regulatory Control.

Qualifications

Your qualifications will include:

• B.Tech Engineering (LC) or BSc Engineering in an appropriate field ( Electrical Engineering, Chemical, Mechanical or Mechatronics)

Experience:

• You will have 5 years Post Qualification experience with focus in the design, implementation and maintenance of process control solutions
• Experience with Siemens PCS7 and/or Rockwell Control
• Logix is beneficial
