Controller: Merchant Services Operations at Capitec Bank

Purpose Statement

• To perform validations and audits and conduct quality and risk checks on applications and profile maintenance requests, processed by Merchant Administration Agents for quality assurance and risk management purposes and to identify training requirements of Agents. 

Experience

Minimum:

• 1 year experience in the Capitec Bank Merchant Admin department with a KPA score of 4

Ideal:

• Auditing and quality assurance experience
• Vetting of work, documentation and processes

Qualifications (Minimum)

• Grade 12 National Certificate / Vocational

Qualifications (Ideal or Preferred)

• Bachelor's Degree in Business Administration or Risk and Compliance

Knowledge

Minimum:

• Expert knowledge of FICA requirements, Merchant Vetting Policy, Merchant Pricing Policy and CDD & EDD Standards

Ideal:

• Expert knowledge of all related policies and procedures 
• Expert knowledge of systems used by the team
• Card Associations and Merchant Acquiring requirements and rules
