    Lead: Client Engagement

    Purpose Statement

    This position leads a small team of specialists in the Client Engagement department in Capitec, to analyse, understand and influence over 18 million Capitec clients through effective omnichannel communication.     Controller: Merchant Services Operations

    Purpose Statement

    • To perform validations and audits and conduct quality and risk checks on applications and profile maintenance requests, processed by Merchant Administration Agents for quality assurance and risk management purposes and to identify training requirements of Agents.

    Administrator: Business Direct-Fixed Term Contract

    Purpose Statement

    • To provide administration support for the Business Direct sales team : by providing a central office-bound contact point for customer service queries/ requests, assistance in the preparation of credit applications and loan documentation, opening of accounts, adding value to clients through the identification of cross-selling opportunities.

    Experience

    Minimum:

    • Previous general banking experience of at least 5 years, of which 1 year should have been spent in the Business Banking environment. This experience should have provided a general understanding of how Business Banking operates, as well as understanding the business risks, industry risks and financial requirements pertaining to the business market.

    Team Leader: Systems and Reconciliations

    Purpose Statement

    • Review daily settlement account reconciliations, ensuring that all uploads of journals are done timeously and correctly, ensuring provisioning is done on a monthly basis as well as the daily settlement of 3rd parties.
    • Ensure that exceptions identified on reconciliations are being managed and resolved within the set timelines. 
    • The team leader will also be responsible for monthly analytics, liaising with IT department regarding system issues and month end tasks. This position will also assist the Accountant: Systems & Reconciliations with any ad hoc tasks and projects.

    Experience

    Minimum:

    • 2-3 years reconciliation experience

    Systems Accountant

    Purpose Statement

    • To execute key accounting functions and provide an accurate financial status of all systems across Capitec.
    • To perform daily settlement account reconciliations, ensuring that all uploads of journals are done timeously and correctly, ensuring provisioning is done on a monthly basis as well as the daily settlement of 3rd parties. 
    • The System Accountant will also be responsible to analyse, investigate and resolve exceptions raised from the reconciliation process on a daily basis. 
    • They will perform Month end tasks and is responsible to report any system errors timeously.

    Penetration Tester

    Purpose Statement

    To ensure that the business is prepared and skilled to mitigate any cyber security threat through

    • Assessing and testing the applications and processes of the Bank.
    • Identifying potential areas of weaknesses from a security perspective.
    • Playing a key role in developing world class cyber security capabilities within the Bank by means of knowledge transfer, education, training and research.

    Experience

    MINIMUM:

    • 3 – 5 years’ experience in cyber security testing
