    Controller: Theatre Dispensary Lvl1

    MAIN PURPOSE OF JOB

    To manage stock levels in theatre

    KEY RESPONSIBILITY AREAS

    • Ensure the availability of theatre stock
    • Ensure availability of theatre charge sheets
    • Ensure the maintenance of stock holding processes in the theatre

    REQUIRED EDUCATION

    ESSENTIAL EDUCATION: Grade 12 (Matric)

    DESIRED EDUCATION: None 

    REQUIRED EXPERIENCE

    ESSENTIAL MINIMUM EXPERIENCE: Stock control experience in a private hospital environment

    DESIRED EXPERIENCE: Working in a theatre environment

    REQUIRED JOB SKILLS AND KNOWLEDGE

    • Stock replenishment processes and relevant policies
    • Stock holding processes and relevant policies
    • Surgical product knowledge
    • Pharmacy policies and procedures
    • AS400 system
    • Prosthesis / implant products knowledge
    • Computer literate (Microsoft Office)
