    What you will do in the role

    • We're looking for an analytical, driven and energetic digital marketer to own our website, conversion programs and SEO. You’ll act as the master and commander of our web presence, working cross-functionally with Marketing, Product, and UX to drive increased conversion through web and mobile.
    • This is an opportunity to grow quickly and stand out at Prodigy. Reporting to the Product Marketing Manager, we’re looking for a quick learner who will help us make smart decisions to send our web conversion numbers through the roof.

    Specific responsibilities include:

    • Project managing inputs and requests from a variety of functions to ensure every detail is updated and on-brand
    • Being the custodian of the website’s design, copy and overall high-quality presence (working with experts in e.g. design and copywriting)
    • Tracking and owning data relating to the website: conversion rates, user paths through the website, SEO performance and more
    • Developing, managing and analysing A/B tests to rigorously determine the best course of action for optimal conversion
    • Based on simple SEO metrics, making suggestions to influence trade-offs in design, copy, and UI
    • Working in sync with Product Marketing and Product Management to define the roadmap and prioritise development of the next generation version of our website
    • Regularly sharing your insights with a variety of teams and stakeholders

    Who we are looking for; track record must haves

    • 3 years experience in marketing analysis or web/conversion rate optimisation, you’ve run A/B tests and you understand the fundamentals of conversion optimisation
    • Data-driven thinking and execution; you prioritise based on potential for impact
    • Attention to detail, ability to project manage multiple streams of work concurrently
    • Collaborative attitude, able to influence peers and leadership across cultures and geographies
    • Empathy for customers; you are aligned to our mission and understand that conversion is about helping more talented students fund their educational dreams
    • A fast learner; this role is perfect for a rising star looking to grow their scope and gain visibility 

     

    Experience that would be nice to have (but we’ll trade off if everything else fits)

    • Web analytics experience (Google Analytics, Heap, Mixpanel, etc)
    • Experience with SEO
    • Experience working with UI/UX
    • Start-up experience. Sometimes the earth moves beneath your feet at Prodigy Finance so you've got to be comfortable with ambiguity, able to wear lots of hats, and adapt easily as you set up processes and frameworks for us to grow into. If you haven’t worked in a start-up before, you need to show us that you have a real desire and potential to be successful in a young, high-growth, non-corporate company.
