Job Description

Responsible for the control and planning of production as well as procurement for the optimalisation of productivity and efficiency of the employees. Ensure that the best results are achieved in relation to the set budget, cost-effectiveness, and prescribed quality targets. Responsible for the procurement Pecans.

Requirements

• 3-5 years appropriate experience
• P Certification: Fumigation Products
• Grading Certification: Products
• Experience in pecans industry: 2-4 years
• Factory safety experience 2-4 years
• Strong mechanically wearing with production experience
• Code 8 Driver's License and own vehicle
• Clear Criminal Record
• Medically Fit

Duties and Responsibilities

• Daily production reporting to direct Manager
• Production planning and control for optimal processing of Niche product to facilitate packaging needs.
• Ensure competitive products and services.
• Coordinate handling and logistical flow of Pecan Nuts;
• Ensuring employee productivity and efficiency
• Control and planning of production.
• Complete stock administration and control in conjunction with stock control staff
• Manage customer service and relationships with key stakeholders
• Personnel management, temporary as well as permanent employees in conjunction with direct management
• Ensure that the factory complies with all applicable law; Food safety; Factory safety
• Get access to new producers that increase intake volumes
• Feedback and support to the new producer as well as the direct manager
• Contracting and exchange rate management as well as daily feed to direct manager
• Help producer with general queries
• Ensure proper maintenance schedule related to upkeep, upgrades and breakdowns.
• Manage client service and relationships with key stakeholders;
• Receive Pecan nut information and actively procure tons for contracting;
• Ensure that the contracted product is delivered to GWK;
