Coordinator Finance Services - Johannesburg at South32

Other key responsibilities include, but aren’t limited to:

• Monitor and process fixed assets and capital project requests i.e. project creation, budget load, project capitalisation, assets disposal, etc;
• Review and maintain the fixed asset registers for a number of entities;
• Ensure all queries and cases are managed on time, accurately and within defined Service Level Definitions;
• Adherence to regulatory and legislative reporting requirements (International Financial Reporting Standards (IFRS) in particular);
• Ensure alignment with and compliance to internal controls including South32 Code of Business Conduct, Group Level Frameworks, Standards, Policies, agreements, systems, and procedures;
• Develop supportive relationships with team members and demonstrate and promote operational discipline when executing day-to-day activities;
• Contribute to maintain a culture of innovation, learning and development and continuous improvement. 

ABOUT YOU:

You will have experience and demonstrate capability in the following:

• Minimum 3 years relevant Finance experience;
• Experience in SAP FI Module;
• Experience within the Finance function of a large Global Organization. 

Qualifications for this role are:

• National Advanced Certificate (2 years) or Equivalent in Accounting, Finance or Commerce.
