Cost Controller at McCain Foods

Purpose of the Job:

• In this hands-on position you will take full responsibly for controlling the seed store related cost. This includes planning, developing, controlling and forecasting the stock costs as well as the overheads budgets with the ultimate goal to minimize the deviation from the budget and ensure that the projects are completed within the approved budget

Suitable candidates must possess the following minimum experience/knowledge:

• A degree or diploma (Cost & Management Accounting or Financial Accounting)
• 4 years’ experience in cost control
• 2 years’ experience within the Plant/ factory environment an advantage
• Outstanding communication skills, both written and verbal
• Solid networking and interpersonal skills
• Exceptionally well organized with an aptitude for data
• Excellent levels of computer literacy in Excel and SAP system.
• Strong administration skills – organized, thorough, systems orientated and meticulous attention to detail
• Strong Microsoft Office (Power Point, Excel, and Word) especially Ms Excel
• Valid SA driver’s license
