Credit Team Leader at FNB South Africa

Job Description

• The main purpose of the role is to manage and optimize the team performance of a team of credit analysts.

Are you someone who can:

• Establish, align and manage target and budget goals whilst ensuring effective control of costs
• Achieve team targets (maximize productivity within quality framework)
• Deliver exceptional service that exceeds customers’ expectations through  proactive, innovative and appropriate solutions
• Cultivate and manage objective working relationships with a variety of stakeholders
• Continuously monitor team’s compliance to credit quality and implement improvements where required
• Plan and manage performance, skills development, employment equity, talent and culture of team in order to improve innovation, achieve efficiencies and increase competencies.
• Continuously assess own performance, seek timely and clear feedback and request training where appropriate.

The ideal candidate will have:

• Matric
• BCom Accounting (Preferred)
• 4-5 Years' Credit risk experience
• Financial statement spreading and reviewing experience as well as knowledge of the Credit Value chain.
• Project management experience relating to automation and efficiencies.
