    Customer Service Coordinator – Retail / Counter Sales

    What needs to be done?

    • Taking orders from Customers telephonically and on site. Processing of orders on the system.
    • Responsible for Stock of retail centre. Arranging stock from warehouse if not available from retail centre.
    • Ensure items are priced correctly on the racks and racked correctly.
    • Action SCT from other regions if required.
    • Processing credits for returned stock.
    • Quoting COD customers on product range.
    • Ensuring high level of product knowledge.
    • Manage payments, balance sheets, reports for stock purchases and movements to finance.
    • Arrange for on time delivery of goods.
    • Handle assigned Customer queries on Order Status.
    • Error Free shipping documentation.
    • Effective communication to both internal and external customers and suppliers.
    • Manage the quotes as given by sales agents to support the customer and issue pro-forma invoices.
    • Handle walk-in customers and orders.
    • Adheres to all Quality, Environmental and safety aspects.
    • Adheres to all SOX requirements.

    What do you need to bring?

    • Diploma in sales and marketing.
    • 3 -5 years’ experience in Customer Service.
    • 5 years relevant experience in sales or marketing within the gas and welding environment.
    • Organised, follow-up, detail consciousness.
    • Good communication skills (Fluent in English).
    • Knowledge of Syspro would be advantageous.
    • Product technical knowledge.
    • Customer focus and results driven.
    • Computer Literate (MS Office).
