Customer Service Officer - Boksburg at DHL

Primary purpose of the role

• To proactively provide a central point of communication for clients, customers, and internal departments. To Achieve & sustain Service Excellence by assisting CSM with all related areas.

Key Accountabilities

• Daily Communicate & Change Expected Delivery Dates
• Daily Log & Communicate all delivery delays to all Customers / Principals
• Log & communicate special, add on, collections requests with Operations & feedback to Principals
• Compile weekly reports for Management
• Identify problem areas, and liaise with management
• Work closely with other departments to ensure Client & Customer needs are dealt with and Customer Service Levels are maintained within the agreed SLA's
• Work is task driven; person must be prepared to complete tasks before taking any breaks (lunch, tea)

Qualifications

• Matric
• 2/3 years warehousing/logistics experience

• 2 – 3 years warehousing / logistics experience

• Ability to follow work procedures and safety rules
• Ability to read, understand, and follow directions/instructions
• Ability to communicate effectively with team members
