    Customer Service Representative

    WHAT'S THE ROLE?

    We are looking for a driven Customer Service Representative to join our team at our Head Office in Midrand . You will be responsible for offering the best possible customer experience, to both internal and external customers, to contribute to and achieve our sales objectives.This is a “bench” vacancy , which exists for the purpose of talent pipeline creation to address our future hiring needs .

    WHAT DOES THE ROLE INVOLVE?

    This is no ordinary customer service job; we are not about transactional business and quick wins, we focus on building and maintaining lasting relationships with our customers. As a Customer Service Representative, you will be the first point of contact for both our external and internal customers. Your strong technical background and high learning agility is key . You will handle the inbound calls and email queries from our customers and stakeholders, in a variety of different segments i.e. Mining , Construction , Industry etc You will be the liaison between other internal department i.e. Logistics, Finance, Markets , Sales , that makes things happen !

    You’ll help look after our portfolio of small to large businesses and provide expert advice and solutions to drive sales and build lasting relationships with our customers. You will also partner with our customers to understand their business needs and how our products can add value.Year upon year we are recognized as one of the top 'Great Place to Work' employers globally.

    WHAT YOU NEED IS:

    • Completed tertiary level qualification ( preferred not a must )
    • Competency in Microsoft Office skills, with experience in using CRM systems used in a Customer Contact Centre.
    • A strong command of English, capable of communicating in both verbal and written context
    • Customer-centric with a solution-based mindset
    • To be results-oriented and proactive - able to get things done and achieve targets
    • The ability to multitask, work under pressure, prioritize and manage time effectively
    • Strong attention to detail
    • Strong ability to deal with multiple internal stakeholders
    • Enthusiasm, and a willingness and drive to learn
    • Passion to develop strong and sustainable customer relationships
