Data Analyst: Transport at TFG (The Foschini Group)

Your responsibilities will be to:

• Conducting transportation data analytics and cost research.

• Managing cost and benefit analysis for engineering projects.

• Overseeing transportation networks.

• Preparing monthly reports on operational and financial metrics.

• Developing metrics for transportation analysis.

• Conducting financial and variance analysis for expenses, services, and quality.

• Providing recommendations based on data analyses and research.

To apply you need to have:

• IT/Maths/B.Com relevant degree

• 1 – 3 years’ experience in data analysis

• Experience with SQL programming preferable

• Strong MS Office skills with specific emphasis on MS Excel

• Experience in using data analytics tools will be an added advantage

• Experience in data extraction, formulation, interpretation and presentation

• Problem solving abilities

• Analytical competence with high numerical ability

• The ability to work under pressure

• Customer service mindset
