Purpose of Job

• To develop financial models, dashboards, evaluation templates and to program within e- sourcing tools to support Procurement decisions and value release as part of the external spend micro-battle program.

Recruitment Description / Key Accountabilities

• Support the gathering relevant data from various sources to develop a comprehensive fact base (e.g., spend data, master data)
• Execute detailed spend analytics (e.g., key cost driver identification, evaluation of savings levers, should cost models, price variance analysis, offer comparisons, vendor spend allocation scenarios modelling)
• Execute supplier and market research (e.g., key stakeholder groups across category value chain, category market share by supplier, key supplier profiles)
• Support preparation of RFx documentation (identifying data points required from suppliers to evaluate bid, tender bid sheet/ rate builder to be distributed to suppliers) and supplier bid evaluation and savings calculation processes (e.g., building bid evaluation model mechanics, consolidating and inputting supplier data into model in e-sourcing platform (Coupa Sourcing Optimisation))
• Support preparation of negotiation materials in terms of fact base

Formal Education

• University Bachelor's Degree in (Engineering, Business or Financial Management, Data Science/ Analytics) or equivalent in a related field

Min Experience

• 10+ years of demonstrated experience in an analytical or data scientist role

Certification

• Microsoft certified: Azure Date Fundamentals (wish)
