Data Architect at Cititec

Overview:

We are seeking an experienced Azure Data Platform Architect to help design and implement innovative data solutions. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of cloud-based data management and the ability to architect, design and implement data platforms in the Azure cloud.

Responsibilities:

• Collaborate with stakeholders to understand their data needs and requirements.
• Design, architect, and implement data platforms on the Azure cloud
• Ensure data platforms are secure, scalable, and highly available.
• Work with cross-functional teams to integrate data platforms with other systems.
• Implement data management best practices, such as data backup and recovery, disaster recovery, and data governance.
• Stay up-to-date with emerging trends and technologies in data management and Azure cloud.
• Develop and maintain documentation for data platforms, including architecture diagrams and technical specifications.

Requirements:

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
• 4-5+ years of experience in data platform architecture and implementation.
• Strong understanding of cloud-based data management and Azure cloud services.
• Experience with data warehousing, big data, and data analytics.
• Experience with SQL Server, Azure Data Factory, Azure Data Warehouse, and Azure Stream Analytics.
• Strong knowledge of data management best practices and data governance.
• Excellent problem-solving, analytical, and communication skills.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced, collaborative environment.
