Data Engineer at Communicate Recruitment

• You will be responsible for designing, implementing, and maintaining scalable, repeatable, and secure data pipelines to support multiple business users. You will oversee all aspects of the data platform, including sourcing data, assessing its quality, verifying accuracy, and ensuring accessibility for reporting and analysis purposes.
• This role also involves developing prototypes and proof-of-concept solutions for data science initiatives, as well as managing complex data projects. These projects will focus on tasks such as data collection, parsing, management, modeling, and visualization across various platforms. The Data Engineer must possess expertise in leveraging technologies to address big data challenges and build solutions, including the use of distributed computing systems and deploying distributed machine learning models.

What you will need:

• A Bachelor’s Degree in fields such as computer science, engineering, mathematics, statistics, or a combination of these disciplines.
• At least 5 years of professional experience in data engineering.
• Proficiency in SQL and working with large-scale datasets.
• Strong knowledge of relational database systems.
• Proven experience in project management or consulting, particularly in cross-functional projects.
• Certifications in data engineering technologies, such as Python, Microsoft, AWS, Hadoop, big data, or cloud infrastructure, are highly desirable.
