Key Responsibilities

• In-depth knowledge of standard Application and Data Integration concepts and principles
• Working with an agile team to develop, test, and maintain data engineering application
• Design, develop, and unit test applications in accordance with established standards
• Provide input into the high-level solution architecture
• Collaborate with project teams made up of people with diverse and complementary skills
• Team player to ensure successful delivery of solutions
• Mentor and train new and junior resources
• Continuously improving skills about emerging industry or technology trends
• Prepare analytical reports through continuous business engagement
• Update database structures and information to deliver reports that meet business requirements
• Architect, Design and develop solutions to store information for reporting based on the latest technology trends. Data Lake, NoSQL etc.
• Document technical specifications or requirements
• Provide technical support for software/technology maintenance or use
• Data mapping and transformation for end to end data integration delivery
• Researching various available technologies for delivering business solutions
• Migrating existing client’s deliveries to new Business Intelligence / Analytics platform
• Cultivating an ongoing partnership with power users in the business, maintaining knowledge of business operations, strategies, information requirements, and priorities
• Initiating process changes and enhancements where necessary and see to successful implementation
• Supporting Architects to build Data Management Strategies.

Qualifications / Experience

• Tertiary Degree / Diploma in a related field (BSc Computer Science, B.IT or Informatics related degrees).
• 4 to 8 Years’ of relevant consulting or industry experience
• Experience or exposure to project management or team lead roles will be an advantage.
• Formal Certifications / Accreditation
• Knowledge of Data Engineering Concepts and Patterns
• Microsoft Azure (Integration, Storage, Data Analysis and Reporting).
• Microsoft Certification will be an advantage.
• Experience on technologies like Hadoop, Pig, Spark, Hive will be an advantage.
