Job Description

• This role is responsible for the delivery of IT solutions to support business objectives through own efforts and others.

Key Results Areas:
Infrastructure and Systems Security Management

• Establish the baseline architecture view of the OMI landscape (technology and relation to business / users).
• Establish values and principles for IT in OMI.
• Agree / Propose / Identify a target technology state. This is the ideal future tech landscape from an OMI point of view.
• Develop the road map for the journey from baseline to target state.

Client Servicing (this, to my mind, overlaps with the above in terms of responsibility areas)

• Owns the relationships with clients (middle management level) in order to meet the client’s technology expectations.
• Provides technical consulting services where required within area of responsibility.
• Responsible for clear and effective communication to team and business.
• Aligns technology to business needs.
• Ensures continuous service to clients.

Change Management

• Ensure that there is a structured approach in place for transitioning users from old to new for each significant change that is implemented.

Personal and Time Management

• Deliver assigned tasks and projects to agreed timelines, costs and standards.

Responsibilities

• Responsible for Management of Finances and Work Delivery Management.
• Owns the relationships with clients (middle management level) in order to meet the clients technology expectations.
• Responsible for execution and management against IT Contracts (via the IT Manager and Senior IT Manager of the area) with the Contracts Administrator in the Capability Cluster¿s Recruitment Team.
• Responsible for infrastructure management in area of responsibility.
• Responsible for execution of change management around IT implementations and upgrades.
• Responsible for clear and effective communication to team and business.
• Responsible for the billability within the area (PlanView).
• Provides technical consulting services where required within area of responsibility.
• Manages assigned deliveries.
• Ensures continuous service to clients.
• Ensures systems security.
• Aligns technology to business needs.

Skills And Experience

• At least 2 years relevant industry experience

Education

• Bachelor of Information Technology (BIT): Management,Information Systems & Technology, Matriculation Certificate (Matric)
