Data Processing Specialist (Excel) (Remote) at Datafin Recruitment

DUTIES:

Process 

• Track the workplace pipeline and progress against expectations.
• Ensure all datasets received are of the highest quality.
• Deliver datasets as early as possible and in accordance with the implemented delivery methods.
• Accurately and timeously import and refresh datasets.
• Conduct quality control checks to ensure that all data and reconciliations are valid and updated.
• Store data in the relevant data repositories.
• Create and maintain all supplier documentation.
• Understand and prepare supplier data for further analysis.

People 

• Liaise between various stakeholders supported/impacted by the process to resolve issues.
• Effectively communicate between all team members and suppliers.
• Keep all parties informed of progress and matters arising.

Compliance and Governance 

• Produce high quality work by adhering to predefined standards and procedures and in accordance with compliance and governance standards.
• Follow data sharing best practice methodologies.

Development 

• Continuously improve work efficiency and accuracy and maintain effective communication with team members and suppliers.

REQUIREMENTS:

Qualifications 

• Relevant Certification or Diploma (Computer Science; Information Technology; Mathematics; Statistics).

Experience/Skills 

• 2+ Years in a similar Data Processing role.
• Proficient knowledge and application of Microsoft Excel and its advanced features and functions.
• Proficient in utilising standard practices for business communication and ability to create clear, effective, professional business documents.
• Proficient in managing data quality, data security, and data ethics for critical data.

Advantageous

• Degree (Computer Science; Information Technology; Mathematics; Statistics).
• Proficient use of relevant scripting technologies.
