Data Quality Mentor - Gauteng at Right to Care

• We are hiring X3 Data Quality Mentor to be responsible for routine validation including data quality audits and verifications, supervision of data capturers, support to DOH Provincial and District Information Management Team and implementation of all health information systems as defined by the National Department of Health (NDoH) including data analytics.

KEY PERFORMANCES

• Ensure all nurses and data capturers are trained on EVDS, this applies for the DOH staff in all assigned DOH facilities and the RTC team.
• Provide training to those DOH or RTC staff not yet trained.
• Provide on the job mentoring to the DOH and RTC staff on EVDS to ensure all vaccinations are being captured accurately using the correct facility on the MFL.
• Ensure the correct application of EVDS credentials at the facility level – including password management.
• Assist with process and implementation of the Covid-19 vaccination program
• Ensure all nurses and data capturers are trained on the undocumented citizens platform, this applies for the
• DOH staff in all assigned DOH facilities and the RTC team.
• Provide training to those DOH or RTC staff not yet trained.
• Provide on the job mentoring to the DOH and RTC staff on undocumented citizens capturing to ensure all such vaccinations are being captured accurately using the correct facility on the MFL.
• Ensure the correct application of undocumented citizens platform credentials at the facility level – including password management.
• Support the back capture of vaccinations

Requirements
Minimum Required Qualifications and Experience

• Matric
• Trained on EVDS
• Experience working with EVDS and the COVID-19 vaccination programme in Gauteng
• Qualification and/or experience with data capturing

Desirable Required Qualifications and Experience

• Diploma/Degree in Social Sciences/Information Management, Statistics or Epidemiology with proven extensive work experience in working with the Department of Health (DoH).
• Knowledge of existing HMIS platforms and biometric system is an added advantage
