    Data Scientist

    Description

ClearScore is a workplace like no other. We’ve spent the past six years disrupting an entire industry and building a user base of millions. At the heart of this success is our culture, where we work hard, relish change and treat each other with respect—helping everyone to reach their potential and deliver results that make a difference.

We’re on a mission to positively impact the lives of our users. Our product puts their needs at the centre of our thinking. Through cutting-edge tech, insightful analytics and beautiful design we want to help our users build their financial confidence and make better financial decisions.

This is an amazing opportunity to engage with a rich data set on 3 million users. We have captured every interaction the users have had with our high touch website and native apps, their fully monthly credit files and growing access to insurance, bank account and mobile data as well.

Ordinarily a data set this vast would be buried in legacy systems, however ClearScore is only 6 years old and operates a strict 'zero legacy' approach that means the data is held in an autoscaling AWS redshift environment. ClearScore is on a journey to turn this immense data asset into something that will improve our users' financial wellbeing.

We want our people to perform at their best, so we trust everyone to work in a way that suits them—focusing on output, not time spent at a screen. We have an inclusive culture where everyone is encouraged to look after their own wellbeing whilst growing and developing their career. This is an exciting opportunity to work within a fast-paced, rapidly growing team of talented data scientists, helping to build revolutionary experiences that will help millions of users manage and better understand their finances.
