• Mr Price Logistics has an exciting opportunity for an experienced Distribution Center (DC) Manager to join our team at our new Johannesburg facility. Responsibilities

• Oversee the daily operations of the distribution centre, ensuring smooth and efficient processes.
• Implement and manage advanced technologies to optimize logistics and distribution.
• Drive continuous improvement initiatives to enhance productivity and reduce costs.
• Lead and develop a high-performing team, fostering a culture of excellence and accountability.
• Ensure compliance with health, safety, and environmental regulations
• Collaborate with other departments to align distribution activities with overall business objectives.

Qualifications

• Degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics or Operations Management or relevant qualification
• Proven experience as a DC Manager or in a similar role within a fast-paced environment.
• Strong understanding of logistics, supply chain management, and distribution processes.
• Degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics or Operations Management or relevant qualification
• Experience with implementing and managing advanced technologies in a DC setting.
• Excellent leadership and team management skills.
• Strong problem-solving abilities and a proactive approach to challenges.
• Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills
