DC Scanner Room Operator (Nightshift) - Midrand at Dis-Chem Pharmacies

Dis-Chem Pharmacies’ in Midrand has an opportunity available for a DC Scanner Room Operator to join the team. The main purpose of this role will be to ensure the efficient and accurate receiving and packing of stock in line with Dis-Chem standard operational procedures and requirements and customer needs within the warehouse.

Essential:

• Grade 12 / Matric

Job Specification…

• Keep accurate record of all equipment (including pass out/ lanyard) in the Scanner room.
• Actively investigate and be aware of equipment damages and discrepancies and act accordingly.
• Do regular equipment counts as per Dis-Chem scanner standard operating procedures.
• Report missing/ damaged equipment to relevant manager immediately.
• Ensure accurate filing related to scanner stock in a logical and easily accessible manner.
• Ensure all relevant documentation is completed when booking equipment in or out of the scanner room.
• Ensure excellent internal customer service experiences for all staff members to assist with the overall productivity of the companies employees.
• Attend to all internal customer issues or concerns in the best suitable timeframe.
• Adhere to scanner standard operating procedures when dealing with staff scanner matters.
• Maintain a productive relationship with management.
• Give Regular feedback to management regarding all equipment matters.
• Ensure management is aware of any equipment issues or concerns to accurately and efficiently facilitate management related decision making.
• Inform scanner management and/ or suppliers of any stock damages and/ or discrepancies as per Dis-Chem standard operating procedures. 
• Complete all reporting functions daily as specified by management.
