    Store Manager - Baby City (Pietermaritzburg)

    Dis-Chem Baby City has an opportunity available for a Store Manager for their store in Pietermaritzburg.You will be responsible for the overall store profitability, this includes overseeing the day to day operations of the store, management of stock, customer service and general maintenance. The role will also be responsible for managing and overseeing compliance of all laws and policies.

    Job Description: 

    Financial Management

    • Assist with budget preparation and maintenance in the store
    • Allocate store funds and defining financial objectives

    Stock and Inventory Management

    • Oversee the management of store shrinkage, stock flow to the floor and consumables expense
    • Conduct the investigation of negative GP values in the store and take appropriate actions to identify and rectify controllable errors
