Dealer: Forex at Capitec Bank

About the role:

• Capitec is seeking a dynamic and self-motivated individual to join our Business Bank team as a Dealer: Forex. In this role, you will be responsible for managing currency exposures and fostering strong relationships with both internal and external clients in the Forex space. We’re looking for someone with at least 3 years of forex trading experience in a dealing room environment whether in banking, insurance, or corporate sectors who thrives in a fast-paced, compliance driven setting. A relevant tertiary qualification in Banking or Finance is essential, along with strong analytical, decision-making and relationship management skills. Our ideal candidate has:

• 3-5 years forex trading experience in a dealing room (in a banking, insurance, corporate environment)
• Tertiary qualification in Commerce and RE5 is required.
• Hands on experience with managing client and stakeholder relationships.
• Experience in managing the currency exposures and internal and external customer relationships of Business Bank in respect of Forex.
• Thorough understanding of forex standards, practices and principles
• Familiarity with regards to compliance within risk and regulatory frameworks.
• Stakeholder engagement management up to executive management.

Ideal

• Knowledge of a business bank environment, including Credit Risk Manual, Securities Manual and Bank policies and Procedures.
