Debtors Clerk - Kempton Park at FlySafair

RESPONSIBILITIES: 

• Full function of a Debtors Clerk;
• Issuing of invoices as and when required for local and foreign Debtors;
• Issuing of credit notes as and when required;
• Send out invoices to Debtors after approval and updated;
• Create new Debtors Accounts as and when required;
• Update spreadsheets with invoices done and payments received;
• Post receipts (payments) against Debtor accounts;
• Collection of overdue accounts – maintaining the Debtors ageing;
• Handle all ad-hoc queries from debtors and management;
• Provide the Bank with info regarding purpose of payment and which account to credit when foreign payments are received;
• Assist with month-end and year-end close-off;
• Provide auditors with information required for year-end audit.

REQUIREMENTS:

• Grade 12;
• 5 years Debtor Clerk experience;
• Knowledge of Sage L500 will be an advantage;
• Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel and Outlook);
• Willing to work overtime if and when required.
