INHERENT JOB REQUIREMENTS:

• Grade 12 with Mathematics and Accounting subjects, however a BCom qualification is preferred.
• 3 years of previous experience in an accounting environment.
• Experience in Pastel and Excel.
• Experience in debtor and creditor processing.

KEY PERFORMANCE AREAS INCLUDE:

• Processing of sales invoices in Pastel Evolution;
• Weekly reconciliation and sending of debtor statements;
• Following up on outstanding funds;
• Management of debtor insurance (applying for limits, reporting monthly balances);
• Clearing of incoming foreign currency payments;
• Processing of supplier invoicing (checking costs against budgets);
• Supplier reconciliation and clearing query items.
