• M-Sure is seeking to employ a qualified and experienced Debtors Controller. The successful candidate will join a dynamic and highly skilled Debtors Team.      
• The successful candidate will report directly to the Debtors Team Leader.

ROLE PURPOSE:

• Responsible for the accurate administration and control of policyholder receivables, premium allocations, collections, reconciliations and payment-related queries.
• Supports revenue completeness and financial integrity.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES: 

• Monitor policyholder premium accounts and outstanding balances
• Follow up on overdue premiums and collection exceptions
• Allocate incoming premium receipts accurately
• Investigate unmatched receipts and unallocated cash
• Resolve payment and allocation queries
• Perform reconciliations between policy administration systems and payment records
• Process approved transfers and adjustments
• Support month-end reporting and journals
• Maintain audit-ready documentation
• Support process improvements and system enhancements

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE:

• Matric required
• Relevant finance qualification advantageous
• 2-4 years’ experience in debtors, receivables, collections or insurance administration
• Intermediate Excel
• Reconciliations and cash allocation experience
