Demand Planner - Fourways at Leroy Merlin

Purpose of the role

• To work closely with the Product & Performance Teams to estimate future product demands with the goal of maximising sales, cash flows and customer satisfaction through in store availability.

Main Responsibilities: 

• Forecasting Future Demands
• Strategic Supplier Management - OTIF
• Inventory Management - Open to Buy
• Seasonal Planning - Trends, flow, launch, exit
• Range performance and optimisation - space planning, ROII

Requirements

Requirements:

The successful candidate should have the following skills, experience and attributes:

• Relevant Supply Chain or Business qualification
• Minimum 5 years’ experience in Merchandise Planning & Replenishment

Personal Attributes:

• Excellent written, verbal and presentation skills
• Able to communicate performance to an Executive level
• Use data and strategy to challenge decisions
• Enjoys collaborating as a team and leading projects
• Ability to lead and influence decisions and outcomes

Analytical Capabilities:

• Expert to Master proficiency in Excel
• Ability to work with with ‘Big Data’ with ease
• Excellent report building capabilities
• Strong forecasting and trend analysis capabilities
