About the role    

• Freshmark is looking for a dynamic and results-driven Depot Manager to lead the FlowerCo Gauteng Depot. The successful candidate will be responsible for driving operational excellence, service delivery, inventory control, workforce management, compliance, and profitability.

What you'll do    

• Lead and manage all day-to-day depot operations.
• Drive productivity, operational efficiency, and continuous improvement initiatives.
• Manage workforce planning, inventory control, stock accuracy, and product quality.
• Collaborate with Transport, Trading, Planning, and Support teams to ensure service delivery targets are achieved.
• Ensure compliance with food safety, health & safety, and company standards.
• Monitor and report on operational KPIs and depot performance.
• Manage costs, budgets, and profitability targets.
• Build strong stakeholder relationships and develop operational teams.

What you bring    

MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS

• Grade 12 (Matric)
• Relevant qualification in Horticulture, Agricultural Economics, Supply Chain, Logistics, or Operations Management advantageous
• Minimum 5 years' experience in FMCG, Logistics, Supply Chain, or Distribution
• Minimum 3 years' management experience leading operational teams
