How will you CONTRIBUTE and GROW?

• The depot supervisor is accountable for maintaining adequate stock levels, conducting daily accurate stock takes and managing and controlling the fleet while adhering to quality and safety and operational standards including cylinder analysis. The incumbent is responsible for stock management, cylinder control, executing secondary deliveries and site control in line with work instructions whilst promoting safe behavior.
• Ensure the branch has sufficient stock to meet daily demands and general housekeeping of the yard. Responsible for all administrative duties with regards to the position, such as stock management and transport documentation
• Forklift driving, loading and offloading of trucks and customer deliveries. Checking of cylinders for expiry and Out of test dates. Random checks on trucks, by climbing on trucks and checking 
• Report all faulty equipment to the planning manager. Capturing of the security log for weekend and after hour. Delivery note checklist submitted to transport company and delivery note checklist received 
• Manage and receipt of delivery note and trip sheets to and from transport. Perform any other reasonable task that may be required or requested in order to achieve the objectives and purpose of the position

• Matric
• Forklift License

Experience

• 2-3 years experience in the gas industry
• Knowledge and Know-how specific to the job
• Chemical operations knowledge
• Basic computer literacy
• Knowledge of stock management
• Knowledge of AL safety policies
