Design Draughtsman at The Heineken Company

Key Performance Areas would include, but are not limited to:

• Compile accurate detail drawings of machine parts according engineering standards for manufacturing purposes.
• Designing of machines & machine components as required
• Writing of CNC programs to manufacture parts from detail drawings.
• Responsible for housekeeping in Drawing Office and maintaining of drawing database.
• Communication with CNC machine operators to ensure parts are manufactured according to specified tolerances & standards.
• Measuring of machines and installations at all Distell depots for layout drawing purposes

The successful candidate must have the following experience/skills:

• Minimum N4 mechanical qualification
• Minimum of 5 years in mechanical engineering environment (Workshop, drawing office, etc)
• Minimum of 3 years’ experience in CAD designing (Knowledge of Solid Works will be advantageous)
• Minimum of 1-year three-Dimensional drawing/designing experience
• CNC programming knowledge will be advantageous.
• Good computer literacy (MS office, etc.)
• Good knowledge of mechanical engineering standards & practices
• Experience in material handling processes (Anodising, Hardening, etc.)
• Sound written & verbal communication skills (E &A)
• Willingness to work outside of normal working hours.
• Excellent problem-solving skills.
• Work under pressure
• Willingness to travel
