Responsibilities
Executing on the OSS/ BSS best practise-based design, customisation, configuration, development, and deployment of applications and systems (including application interfaces). This involves understanding of business processes and the associated business outcomes and mapping and building these workloads or features into applications and systems landscape, in consultation with the Architecture and Solution Design teams.
Increase operational efficiency and suggest solutions to enhance cost effectiveness
Control costs for business area
Plan, implement, manage and report on cost effectiveness and communicate or escalate any variances
Manage high risk and problematic IT issues in area of accountability and contribute to the development of policy
Build relationships that allow for the managing of expectations; the sharing of knowledge and diverse insights; and the creation of buy-in
Engage in cross-functional relationships to obtain and to provide work support
Contribute to sustaining a competitive edge through external networking, benchmarking and representation on related forums.
Assess client needs utilizing a structured requirements process i.e. gathering, analysing, documenting, and managing changes.
IT Document Standards (URS/FDS/TDS/LLD); Architecture patterns; Database technologies (Relational/ Graph).
Programming Skills (Java/PL SQL/JavaScript); Integration/ Interface Technologies (XML/JSON); Full ETE SDLC (Software Development Life Cycle); Root Cause Analysis (RCA); Problem Solving; Workflow System Development and Design; Business Process Design; Integrated Development Environments (IDEs).Solution Design Methodologies.
Qualification
Degree/Diploma/ National Diploma in Information Technology or Engineering.
