Diagnostic Technician at WeBuyCars

Role Description
Key Responsibilities: 

• Perform service, repair, and maintenance on customer vehicles in accordance with manufacturer and company standards. 
• Conduct mechanical and electronic diagnostics using advanced diagnostic equipment and tools. 
• Accurately diagnose and fault-find across a wide range of vehicle types, including engines, electrical systems, and electronic control units (ECUs). 
• Carry out engine overhauls and repairs as required. 
• Ensure compliance with safety regulations and maintain a clean, organized, and safe working environment. 
• Source and order vehicle parts as needed to complete repair tasks efficiently. 
• Maintain detailed service records and reports for each job completed. 
• Provide technical guidance and training to co-workers when required. 
• Continuously set and uphold high professional standards in line with industry best practices.

Role Requirements

Qualifications & Experience: 

• Trade Test Motor Mechanic (Red Seal) certification – compulsory. 
• Minimum 5–7 years’ experience in diagnostics and fault-finding on a variety of motor vehicles. 
• Valid driver’s license.
