RESPONSIBILITIES

 SHEQ

• Ensure compliance and alignment with FAMP SHEQ policy
• Supervise teams risk assessments, SHEQ team task analysis and quality output to ensure team effectives and delivery.
• Promote and improve SHEQ performance.

Coordinating

• Provide mechanical team support and advice
• Liaises with Engineering Production staff
•  Evaluates condition monitoring status
• Issuing of work schedules and job cards on all equipment
• Ensures maintenance planning for all equipment.
• Issues requisitions for spares as required.

Administration

• Ensure planned job compliance and effective utilization of the maintenance system
• Prepares and submit daily, weekly and monthly reports
• Plan schedules for daily, weekly, monthly maintenance
•  Budget and cost Management

Managing the Team

• Select and appoint competent personnel
• Manpower and material management
• Implement team KPI’s and ensure alignment with FAMP scorecard
• Ensure regular team meetings to drive performance and continuous improvement
• Train and develop team members

Requirements

QUALIFICATIONS

• N3 Electrical/ Mechanical Engineering subjects
• Diesel Mechanic Trade Test
• Supervisory course completion will be an added advantage

EXPERIENCE

• 2 years Learnership/Apprentice in Mining or construction
• 3-5 years as Artisan in Mining or construction

• Computer literacy (Microsoft, Maintenance system)
• Excellent Verbal and written communication skills
• Excellent interpersonal and leaderships skills
• Excellent Team player and service orientated
