RESPONSIBILITIES

• Be able to work independently

• Ensure that relevant SOP’s ( Standard operating procedure ) for the specific machine is followed at all times
• Responsible for general housekeeping of the machine
• General inspection of the machine before and after the shift and complete inspection checklist.
• Adhere to safety rules and regulations.

Requirements

QUALIFICATION

• Grade 12
• Code EC Drivers license with PDP
• Experience and certification with other Machinery will be advantageous
• Previous Grader license or permit will be advantage

REQUIREMENTS

• 2 year's relevant grader operating experience
• Tailings experience will be an advantage

SKILLS, QUALITIES AND ABILITIES REQUIRE

• Must be able to communicate in English
• Good interpersonal and communication skills
• Good machine operating, writing and technical skills

PURPOSE

• This position is responsible for driving a straight truck with tank mounted and is required to drive to and from the job site

RESPONSIBILITIES

Observe and adhere to general responsibilities

• Adhere to the requirements of the FAT Code of Conduct
• Adhere to all SHEQ-C requirements

Production requirements

• Perform the task of transporting and off loading of materials as per SOP

• Operate and maintain equipment as per OEM operator manual specifications

• This position exists for Hauling and dumping of required quantity of Product/Material to the plant or specified destination using Articulated Tipper Truck machine

RESPONSIBILITIES

 SHEQ

• Ensure compliance and alignment with FAMP SHEQ policy
• Supervise teams risk assessments, SHEQ team task analysis and quality output to ensure team effectives and delivery.
• Promote and improve SHEQ performance.

Coordinating

• Provide mechanical team support and advice
• Liaises with Engineering Production staff
•  Evaluates condition monitoring status
• Issuing of work schedules and job cards on all equipment
• Ensures maintenance planning for all equipment.
• Issues requisitions for spares as required.

Administration

• Ensure planned job compliance and effective utilization of the maintenance system
• Prepares and submit daily, weekly and monthly reports
• Plan schedules for daily, weekly, monthly maintenance
•  Budget and cost Management

Managing the Team

• Select and appoint competent personnel
• Manpower and material management
• Implement team KPI’s and ensure alignment with FAMP scorecard
• Ensure regular team meetings to drive performance and continuous improvement
• Train and develop team members

Requirements

QUALIFICATIONS

• N3 Electrical/ Mechanical Engineering subjects
• Diesel Mechanic Trade Test
• Supervisory course completion will be an added advantage

EXPERIENCE

• 2 years Learnership/Apprentice in Mining or construction
• 3-5 years as Artisan in Mining or construction

PURPOSE

• The position exists to ensure that all Front End Loader Operating task based on loading, handling of all equipment is done safely and efficiently. This role requires a lot of complex and specialized operating skills

RESPONSIBILITIES

• Maintain good house keeping.
• Responsible for the safe operation of the Front End Loader
• Attend pre-shift meetings
• Report unsafe conditions and behaviors
• Inspect equipment and the working area
• Engage post as a scheduled shift FEL operator until relieved by the next shift FEL
• Operator or as arranged by shift supervisor
• Take instructions from a shift supervisor, process manager and safety officer on given circumstances
• Adhere to health, safety, environment and production rules and regulations
• Act responsibly in carrying out their job as a competent FEL operator

Requirements

• At least 2 years’ experience in mining operations and related knowledge and skills to FEL operating
