Excavator Operator at Fraser Alexander

PURPOSE

• To assist operations where an excavator is required to make the operating environment safer and more convenient by opening trenches and cleaning out areas where other equipment have difficulty operating

RESPONSIBILITIES

• Operation of excavator to either load, dig , clean trenches or ditch slimes dam
• Ensure that relevant SOP’s ( Standard operating procedure ) for the specific machine is followed at all times
• Responsible for general housekeeping of the machine
• General inspection of the machine before and after the shift and complete inspection checklist.
• Adhere to safety rules and regulations.

Requirements

EXPERIENCE

• Approximately 2-3 years relevant work experience in an earthmoving environment
• Tailings experience will be an advantage
