    Digital and Social Media Coordinator - Gauteng

    THE PURPOSE OF THE ROLE

    • The individual in the role is required to produce, review, and publish content based on Marketing campaigns and competitive research. The individual in the role is also required to maintain strict adherence with established marketing guidelines to ensure an accurate online representation of the department.

    KEY DELIVERABLES

    Digital Marketing  

    • Working closely with the Digital Manager to conceptualise and deliver digital solutions based on Marketing campaigns.
    • Ensuring the timely production, publication, and submission of daily updates for a digital calendar, with any changes to be communicated to relevant teams.
    • Ensuring that headlines and all other website copy take Search Engine Optimisation (SEO) into account.
    • Ensuring website copy and/features are written according to the brand’s style guide and are flawless in terms of spelling and grammar.
    • Overseeing the development and maintenance if the Company’s website.
    • Ensuring that the content uploaded is accurate, up to date, and visually appealing.
    • Working with multiple stakeholders such as Graphic Designers, Content Creators and Agencies to ensure they are in sync with the overall Marketing strategy of the organisation.

    SOCIAL MEDIA

    • Assisting in the development of social media marketing strategies.
    • Creating original posts to be scheduled as and when required.
    • Ensuring that the posts are editorially sound and engaging, with a focus on key marketing elements.
    • Ensuring that social media posts are scheduled according to predefined deadlines.
    • Engaging with and managing the community across e.tv’s social media accounts.
    • Executing and curating engaging content that aligns with the objectives of the social media strategy and drives measurable results.
    • Assisting in creating and editing written, video, and photo content.
    • Attending events and create live social media content.
    • Maintaining a consistent brand voice across various social media channels.

    CONTENT DURATION

    • Uploading videos and other show content immediately after the relevant show has ended as and when required.
    • Uploading show promos to the e.tv website and social media platforms on a weekly basis, as outlined in the digital calendar.
    • Editing captioned video content for shows as specified in the digital calendar and publish it on the social media platforms.
    • Ensuring video content is attached to the relevant copy published on digital platforms.
    • Ensuring that there are no technical issues with the video content loaded to digital platforms and promptly alerting relevant personnel within the Marketing department to address any identified issues.

    MONITORING AND REPORTING

    • Presenting of integrated monthly campaign reports to all key stakeholders.
    • Monitoring show and campaign performances.
    • Reporting on social media activities, campaigns, and growth.

    Key Performance Indicator 1

    Key Performance Indicator 2

    • Ensuring that copywriting for social media and/or websites are accurate.
    • Ensuring that headlines and all other website copy take Search Engine Optimisation (SEO) into account.
    • Ensuring that website copy includes hyperlinks to previous stories.
    • Ensuring that website copy is accompanied by photos and video content that are relevant to a particular story.

    Key Performance Indicator 3

    • Uploading show promos and/or videos to e.tv websites and social media platforms.
    • Editing captioned video content for shows and publish on the social media platforms.

    Key Performance Indicator 4

    • Developing and curating engaging content for social media platforms.
    • Assisting in the creation and editing of written, video, and photo content.
    • Attending events and producing live social media content.

    Key Performance Indicator 5

    • Monitoring show and campaign performances.
    • Reporting on social media activities, campaigns, and growth.

    • Overseeing the development and maintenance of a company’s website.
    • Ensure that the content uploaded is accurate, up-to-date, and visually appealing to visitors.

    Requirements

    • National Diploma within Marketing
    • A minimum of 1-2 years' experience in Digital Marketing
