Digital Content Creator at Bumbo International

SCOPE & PURPOSE

As a Digital Content Creator, you will be responsible to create, review and edit content to be published on the company’s website and various digital and social media pages. You will be required to produce articles, blogs, videos, reels, and other related content, to gain maximum exposure to relevant target markets. You will work closely with the rest of the marketing team to ensure consistency between existing marketing campaigns and content published.

DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES

KEY PERFORMANCE INDICATORS:

• Work with the marketing department to get an understanding of the existing and planned marketing strategies and targets to enable you to develop strategies to create required content.
• Ensure that all content complies with relevant copyright and data protection laws.
• Maintain consistency in content and ensure alignment with the brand history and other marketing campaigns.
• Create digital content that can be used across all digital platforms and that results in an increased awareness and interest in the products and activities of the company, through using Search Engine Optimization standards and principles.
• Create Blog posts and or Articles.
• Prioritize and schedule work effectively, anticipating problems and adjusting the allocation of resources and time accordingly.
• Develop creative ideas, find innovative ways of delivering digital content to partners and distributors and to keep abreast of all the latest trends in digital marketing / content creation.
• Participate in regular department and cross departmental meetings to achieve objectives.

QUALIFICATIONS:

• Relevant Marketing, Communication or Design degree.

EXPERIENCE:

• 3+ years of creative design experience or in similar role
• Experience using design software such as InDesign, Photoshop, and Illustrator
• Strong typography skills
• Portfolio of evidence.
• Project Management.
• High level of creativity and has the ability to be innovative
• Understanding of contemporary digital principles
• Efficient use & knowledge of Apple Mac OS & Adobe CC Suite (Focus on Photoshop)
• Flexible and multi-tasked with good attention to detail
• Has a knack for good design, great layouts, content creation and able to take creative direction and feedback?
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• The ability to work in a high pressure and fast-moving work environment.
• A clear understanding of various social media and other digital platforms and the content or strategies which are best aligned for use on each platform.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite and other software / applications used to create digital content.
• Creative, out of the box thinker.
• Ability to consistently deliver work of high quality within deadline and budget.
• Understanding of UI/UX design.
• Ability to communicate messaging in simple language having regard to current marketing campaigns and brand history. (German and French speaking, reading, and writing – Advantage)
