The Digital Marketing Manager will be responsible for delivery of the ZA’s marketing plans to meet ClearScore’s ambitious growth objectives. You will work closely with the Head of Marketing and broader global marketing, product and commercial teams to achieve the acquisition and revenue plan. You will be responsible for leading and developing world class communications. We are looking for someone who has hands on experience, sees the bigger picture but also has great attention to detail to fundamentally deliver more from our communications and marketing mix. You’ll have proven success across digital channels – specifically SEO, Google Ads and Social.
We’re looking for someone who is highly analytical with great attention to detail and has a track record of understanding marketing metrics and making recommendations. You will be comfortable diving into the numbers and constantly optimising our approach to deliver brilliant results. No day will be the same as you’ll work in an environment that’s constantly changing and you have an opportunity to make your mark on the strategic challenges and business direction. At the heart of this role, this individual needs to drive the integration between traditional and digital media marketing with growth as the main goal. The successful candidate will report into the Head of Marketing.
Responsibilities:
Work with broader marketing teams to ensure digital channels are fully integrated with the overall marketing team and business.
Good working knowledge of Google marketing stack (Google Ads 360, Search Ads 360, Google Analytics, FGoogle Adwords and Google Tag Manager).
SEO analytics, in-depth knowledge of keyword research, SEO copywriting and the behaviours of search engines.
Experience with website optimisation tools
Good understanding of social media landscape and how this can be utilised in brand, SEO and search
Performing thorough, detailed website analysis, identifying current problems and opportunities, with a focus on crawlability, site architecture and site content
Measure ROI and KPIs; prepare budgets, advise on maximising digital marketing spend across all digital activities, closely monitor campaign results and produce timely reporting to the leadership team.
Create paid social strategy for customer acquisition, retention and brand awareness
Execute campaign experiments that inform campaign optimisation
Develop a test and learn plan and share best practices
Champion best in class digital marketing practices, inspire digital-first thinking, advise on and drive digital marketing initiatives.
Stay up to date with digital technology developments to find new solutions and tools that improve efficiency and effectiveness.
Requirements
Five to seven years’ experience in Digital Marketing
Solid understanding of paid digital media (fully versed and able to present a strategy and flow-plan for digital media)
Social media and tech savvy (i.e., Facebook, Instagram, LinkedIn and Twitter)
Experience building marketing plans, with a particular emphasis on digital
Analytical - excited by and proficient at numerical marketing, a love for data
Comfortable with MS Excel to manipulate data and create meaningful graphs
Strong writing, communication and presentation skills
Self-disciplined, organised and great attention to detail
Positive attitude, able to work under pressure and within a moving framework
Educated to degree level or have relevant experience, as well as a minimum of 5-7 years’ experience in Marketing or Advertising.
