    Digital Sales Manager

    Digital Sales Manager 

    Our company is growing and searching for a digital sales expert with an accomplished record of delivering client solutions coupled with successful sales experience in digital media or any media sales related field. You will be responsible for driving media sales and revenue on the SME SA portal & our newly launched B2B platforms.

    You will participate and lead in customer and prospect meetings and work cross-functionally with the leadership team on more strategic projects as required. To thrive in this role, you should be comfortable working in a startup environment where priorities and requirements change frequently.

    In addition to overseeing the company's digital sales efforts, the Digital Sales Manager helps develop sales and marketing strategies to position the company for future success as the leading SME resource organization with a diverse portfolio of digital products and services. This position reports to the Business Manager & CEO.

    Salary R 20- R30k) basic + Comm

    Responsibilities

    • Exceed monthly online sales targets and drive digital revenues for the company.
    • Build a quality sales pipeline to forecast the best case and most likely sales volume over a specified timeline.
    • Close new business consistently at or above your target expectations.
    • Serve as the company's leading sales expert and advocate for all digital products.
    • Directly supervise the digital sales team. You will manage one inside sales executive.
    • Analyze and share performance metrics data of digital advertising products with sales staff and management.
    • Collaborate with the Marketing Team to develop and execute marketing strategies for our entire digital portfolio.
    • Pursue high-priority account prospects assigned by the CEO.
    • Conduct digital sales training sessions with sales staff.

    Desired Qualifications & Skills:

    • 5 + years of online media/B2B publishing and sales management experience.
    • Experience managing a team in a consultative, relationship-building phone selling environment is a plus.
    • Independent, self-starter who thrives on immersion in a rapidly changing environment and excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
    • Proactive, can-do attitude, with excellent follow-through and resourcefulness, along with attention to detail.
    • Motivational leader and metrics-driven decision-maker who knows the sales funnel intimately.
    • Strong communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to be personable yet persistent.
