    Director

    • A senior leadership role within the Sub-Saharan Africa consulting team. The Director will be responsible for delivering strategic, data-driven solutions through a consultative approach, focusing on new product development, customer lifecycle management, digital innovation, and risk. This role also includes driving the growth of the Digital and Commercial practice areas, business development, and project delivery across Sub-Saharan Africa.

    Key Responsibilities:

    • Design and implement data-driven consulting programs for clients, focusing on new products, strategy, digital, and commercial service lines.
    • Resolve complex strategic issues and create roadmaps for client program delivery.
    • Lead large, multi-market projects, ensuring synergies across multiple teams and affiliates.
    • Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including Product, Marketing, and Client Services, to deliver seamless consulting experiences.
    • Drive business development through consultative sales and project delivery.
    • Provide mentorship and guidance to junior team members and promote global best practices.
    • Manage project budgets, resources, and deliverables in line with organizational goals.
    • Ensure compliance with internal standards and risk management protocols.

    Qualifications:

    • 12+ years of experience in financial services or consulting, with a focus on payments, banking, or retail.
    • Strong client management and consulting skills, with the ability to influence senior management.
    • Advanced proficiency in PowerPoint and Excel, with superior project management skills.
    • Post-graduate degree preferred.
    • Experience working in a multi-cultural environment with cross-functional teams.
    • Fluency in English required; French is a plus.

    Leadership Skills:

    • Demonstrates integrity and a constructive approach to business challenges.
    • Ability to influence stakeholders and lead change management initiatives.
    • Strong problem-solving, decision-making, and team management skills.

    Additional Information:

    • Hybrid position with 2-3 office days per week.
    • Occasional travel across Sub-Saharan Africa and client visits.
