Something about the job

• You’re the technical leader owning everything cloud, data platform, DevOps, and security.
• Your mission: keep the AWS ecosystem stable, scalable, compliant and evolving fast.

You’ll spend your days:

• Designing high-availability AWS architectures (Terraform / CDK)
• Leading cloud modernization and migrations to EKS/ECS/Lambda
• Owning the Amazon Connect environment and integrations
• Driving DevOps maturity and automated delivery pipelines
• Leading Master Data Management and Data Catalog initiatives
• Governing data quality, lineage, and “golden record” frameworks
• Implementing event-driven architectures (SNS/SQS/Kinesis)
• Enforcing HIPAA/GDPR-aligned security and data protection
• Managing cloud costs, tagging strategies, and optimisation
• Overseeing cloud security tools (GuardDuty, WAF, Security Hub)
• Mentoring technical teams and setting architectural standards
• Basically: you’re the anchor for all things cloud, data engineering, security, and platform excellence.

Something about the person we’re looking for
You’ll shine here if you:

Your background

• Have 10+ years in cloud engineering and 3+ years leading teams
• Hold a degree in Computer Science / Engineering (Honours/Certs = bonus)
• Are fluent in AWS data and compute services (Glue, S3, Lambda, Athena, Step Functions)
• Are comfortable with SQL + NoSQL (PostgreSQL, MySQL, DynamoDB)
• Have experience with MDM, “golden record” design, and Data Catalog governance

Your skills

• Strong Python skills (PySpark especially for AWS Glue)
• Strong knowledge of data modelling, schema design, and optimisation
• Solid understanding of Infrastructure-as-Code (Terraform / CDK)
• Comfortable leading cloud architecture, DevOps practices, and AIOps tooling
• Security-first mindset with proven AWS security experience
• Can translate technical architecture into clear, business-friendly language
