    Job Description

    JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

    • Develop BIM content based on BIM Modelling standards
    • Collaborate and communicate with other disciplines regarding coordination issues and common model development tasks
    • Perform both routine and non-routine, complex modelling assignments that require judgment in resolving issues or making recommendations.
    • Works with BIM Model Coordinator and project engineers to communicate, problem solve, and update models for coordination and design issues
    • Assist engineers with drawing coordination problem solving
    • Maintain awareness of compliance to safety and quality standards and integration of design
    • Implement BIM modelling techniques and processes to improve the overall efficiency and effectiveness of the production process.
    • Provide a leadership role to the modellers within the discipline
    • Maintain an overview of developments in BIM modelling systems and standard Codes of Practice.
    • Upskilling the BIM team to deliver BIM processes into everyday project production and delivery.
    • Improve and customize of content libraries (e.g. Revit families)
    • Develop and execute user training for BIM software
    • Ability to work on multiple projects at once
    • Create and help manage discipline BIM Standards.
    • Assist staff with technical software support.
    • Provide client representation on behalf of AECOM regarding BIM capabilities as required.
    • Liaising with external parties (sub consultants, consultants, contractor, clients etc.) regarding AECOM BIM processes.
    • Help coordinate discipline specific software management.

    MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS

    • 10+ years’ experience with modelling software in an engineering environment
    • Previous Project BIM Coordination / Project Information Management experience
    • Revit Certified Professional certification required
    • Must be proficient in Navisworks Management
    • Must be proficient in drawing/model management systems (Like BIM Team, BIM 360 Docs, etc)
    • Must be versed in local industry BIM Initiatives and internationally recognised BIM initiatives, standards, protocols and mandates like BS1192 and ISO19650
    • General knowledge of integrated architectural and engineering practice
    • Knowledge of Microsoft Office (i.e., Word, Excel, and Outlook)
    • Must be detail-oriented, consistent and highly accurate in the work
    • Should have a thorough grasp of engineering modelling and principles.
    • Must be self-motivated, detail-oriented professional with strong organizational skills
    • Must have good communications skills: interpersonal, listening, oral, and written
    • Ability to set priorities in an efficient and timely manner to meet essential job functions.
    • Must be a team player, have a positive attitude, and be a self-starter.
    • Ability to work both independently and as part of a team
    • Possess a strong work ethic
