Display & Sublimation General Worker at Barron

Job Description

• We are seeking reliable and hardworking Production Display & Sublimation General Workers to join our busy manufacturing environment.
• This role supports both the Display and Sublimation areas and includes additional garment preparation and order fulfilment tasks. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, quality-driven, and flexible in performing a variety of manual production activities.

Key Responsibilities
Display Department

• Assist with assembling, finishing, and preparing display materials and components.
• Handle, package, and store display items according to quality standards.
• Conduct visual inspections to ensure products meet specifications.
• Support the setup of display units for quality checks and production readiness.
• Maintain cleanliness and organisation in the display workspace.

Sublimation Department

• Prepare materials for sublimation printing, including fabrics, garments, and substrates.
• Ensure correct alignment, placement, and finishing of sublimated items.
• Inspect sublimated products for print quality, colour accuracy, and defects.
• Assist with cooling, trimming, and packaging of sublimated products.

Garment Preparation & Housekeeping Tasks

• Iron garments before printing or dispatch to ensure a neat, professional presentation.
• Clean garments as required before processing or packaging.
• Maintain cleanliness of work surfaces, equipment, and production areas.

Order Preparation & Packing

• Pack completed orders accurately and according to customer specifications.
• Label and seal orders for dispatch, ensuring correct quantities and product types.
• Assist with sorting, counting, and organising items before packing.
• Support with loading, organising shelves, or moving completed orders.

General Production Support

• Follow daily production schedules and complete tasks within assigned timeframes.
• Load, unload, and move materials between workstations as needed.
• Report defects, machine issues, or material shortages to the supervisor immediately.
• Adhere strictly to health, safety, and quality procedures.

Qualifications & Experience
Essential

• Experience in manufacturing, production, or general labour.
• Ability to iron, clean, and prepare garments to quality standards.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to accuracy.
• Ability to follow instructions in a fast-paced environment.
• Good teamwork and communication skills.
• Physically fit and able to perform manual tasks.

Advantageous

• Experience in display work, sublimation printing, or garment handling.
• Basic technical or machine operation skills.
• Familiarity with packaging and order fulfilment processes.
