Actively exploit business opportunities to deliver stretch plans and persevere during challenging times
Makes recommendations to Retail Director and Brand Managers on yearly targets, as well as on
Manages the Store Managers:
Attracts, leads and develops teams to achieve sales plan and deliver high-touch customer service.
Sets the tone for excellence in execution in all field staff, actively role modelling effective selling techniques and driving expectations of delivery of a strong service and selling culture across span of control
Develops and upskills team in retail management techniques and drives commercial performance improvement
Ensures operational efficiencies and completion of procedures according to retail regional and affiliate retail guidelines, brand guidelines and ELC standards
Ensures all activities respect brand standards and visual integrity of stores
Prepares and plans strong implementation plans for staff coverage across all retail locations, with particular focus in top doors.
Develop and nurture strong, effective and productive business partnerships with store managers, customer, malls and local business
Actively maintain competitor and market awareness, and develop strategies to ensure brand outgrows competitors.
Develop and execute against top door strategy ensuring top doors grow ahead of competition, overall brand, have staff coverage and together with Trade and Marketing Manager implement
Qualifications
Requirements and Experience
Full, unrestricted Driver’s license
3 - 5 years retail sales experience, gained within the department store prestige product marketplace
Exposure to marketing, budgeting and promotional planning, essential.
People Management Experience
Advanced MS Office – Word, Excel and PowerPoint
Must be prepared to work within a department store environment
