Divisional Financial Manager at Flash Group

Description

• As the Divisional Financial Manager for the Go1212 and Consumer division, you'll steer the division's financial operations, ensuring accuracy, transparency, and strategic alignment with the company's overarching goals. Reporting directly to the Group Financial Manager, you'll also have an indirect reporting line to the General Manager of the Consumer Division, ensuring a holistic approach to the division's financial management.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Ensure divisional financials are accurate and offer a true reflection of the division's performance.
• Oversee and validate financial reconciliations related to the division, emphasizing precision and transparency.
• Regularly assess Operational KPIs related to operational shifts within the business.
• Collaborate with the general manager and financial analyst to drive initiatives enhancing the division's earnings.
• Regularly evaluate these initiatives' effectiveness and implement corrective measures when necessary.
• Continuously monitor the division's financial performance, relaying crucial updates to senior management.
• Partner with senior management to streamline the development of budgets, ensuring easy access to finance data and strict adherence to compliance and reporting standards.
• Work closely with the Financial Analyst to project end-of-month financial forecasts and manage potential risks.
• Ensure operational expenditures are managed efficiently and remain within the allocated budget.
• Analyse and document the financial repercussions of operational modifications, such as shifts in marketing tactics or product pricing adjustments.
• Ensure payment processing accuracy by comparing them with the preceding day's trade data.
• Confirm the division's strict adherence to onboarding protocols when new clients are integrated.
• Provide backup for the Financial Analyst and Technical Financial Manager as and when required, upholding continuity and rigorous standards.
• Stay abreast of industry best practices, continually seeking innovations in financial processes to foster divisional growth.

Requirements
Minimum Requirements:

• CA (SA)
• 3 – 5 years post article experience 
• 2+ year of Management experience
• Advanced spreadsheet skills
