Minimum Requirements:

• Completed Grade 12 coupled with a relevant draughting qualification.
• 2 or more years of experience as a Draughtsman.
• Autodesk Inventor experience.
• Sheet Metal and Detailing experience.
• Own transport and a valid driver's license.
• Understanding of SABS/ SANS drawings specs.

Duties and Responsibilities:

• Collaborate on product design using engineering and manufacturing techniques.
• Transform rough sketches and specifications into detailed designs.
• Specify dimensions, materials, and procedures for new products.
• Generate multiple design versions for review.
• Utilize Autodesk Inventor for design plans and layout drawings.
• Draft diagrams based on given specifications.
• Create drawings for sheet metal components.
• Calculate dimensions and allowances with precision.
• Compile data and specification sheets.
• Revise drawings to accommodate changes and enhancements.
• Follow design and development procedures.
• Prepare General Arrangement, assembly, and manufacturing drawings.
• Contribute to drawing revisions as required.
• Incorporate company standards into engineering designs.
• Manage document control processes.
• Conduct site visits to measure existing equipment.
